If HEI provides better SFC then it has to create a situation that will provide for lower SFC. That would be HEI at 1,401 RPM should need less throttle to achieve the same 1,401 RPM as when running with points.

Same thing at the higher 2,568.5 RPM

Deve, should try to mount a protractor to see how the throttle position changes.
