It probably wouldn't say Chevy on it, but it would be worth the try for $1.50. Try to take it somewhere that uses an old manual machine to cut it though

I forget which is which but one is the hex end and the other round. The hex is the ignition/door, the round the glove box (and trunk on a car). If he doesn't have, or can't get, B10 & B11 there are modern equivalents.

A lot of the parts vendors have New Old Stock blanks that they sell... so, poke around on those and see what you can find.
Then you can take the blank to the local locksmith to have it keyed properly.

I have original keys for my 1967 Beaumont with the knockouts still in them.
