Align your long flat skinny screwdriver with the knob. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | Charley, although they are probably gone a long time ago some handle will have a "cap-screw" in them. You back out the cap screw and then there will be another one that is tight and holds the handle on. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 | I drip a little PB Blaster in them sometimes if they are really stuck. They get pretty dry if they have never been off in 60 years. Once you loosen the screws they should come right off. They are splined but they are dissimilar metal types so they usually don't "weld" togehter. | | |
