I've been reading the forums for about 3-4 months now. Had dailup and now have DSL. My father gave my wife and I my grandmother's 61 apacheafter she passed away, "farm truck but one owner". After he saw our restored 66 Mustang coupe he wanted to see grandma's truck restored. We are well on the way. I have picked up a lot of help just reading the forums. Can't wait to participate. It's nice to see how helpful everyone is.

Welcome to the 'bolt. It's always neat to hear of a rig that stayed in the family.

Welcome. I learned to drive on a 58 Apache that was my grandfather's and I still have it. I'm sure that '61 means a lot to you, and you'll do a great job restoring it.

CFG61, I assume your 61 has a 8 cylinder, that's pretty neat. Mine is the 235 inline 6. I still need to get with my wife to figure out how to attatch pictures. I know the stovebolt has info on this,. However with me doing air conditioning work, here in Arkansas we,ve been pretty busy. Nice truck and Im sure you will eventually fing time to work on it.
