I really want to go back to tube tires right about now. I've just realized there's a 2" wide strip rubbed off on the inside of both front tires. The back tires are being rubbed by the Emergency Brake Cable and I just can't seem to bend those back to stay in place. What is the condition of your rear spring shackles?
I had a similar problem when I first purchased my truck. Tires rubbed... not on the emergency cable, but on the frame. Previous owner bought wider tires,in conjunction with old floppy shackles.
I replaced the shackles which helped. However, I got rid of the radials and I am currently running bias plys.
When I go cruisin' in the old truck....women smile, men weep and dogs beg for rides.
