Let's all give a big Stovebolt welcome to our new Moderator here in the General Truck forum -- Cletis!! Cletis will be helping Woog keep this ship running hot, true and normal.

Most everybody knows Cletis as one of our stalwarts and general Stovebolt niceguy. He'll be helping folks who are new, folks who need help and folks who ... well... just need Cletis' help.

I know that doesn't quite make sense, that's why I've been fired and we brought in a REAL old truck guy...

Seriously, I'm sure y'all will give Cletis your utmost support as he tries to keep this place in line, swept up, shipshape and Bristol Fashion.

Thanks Cletis and welcome to moderating! I'll go back to being a figure head now wink

Thanks!!
John

Thanks for the nomination and appointment. The swearing in ceremony wasn't too bad. I hope the initiation goes as easy on me, too.

Seriously, I'm proud to accept the position. You guys can help me out by keeping it about the care, restoration, preservation or use of old GM trucks and keeping it clean. I'm looking forward to serving you.

Cletis - welcome to your new position!

I have one question. In your introduction was that "Real Old" truck guy, or real "Old Truck Guy?"

With all the activity on this site, no doubt your help will be a great addition.

If it ain't broke, take it apart and figure out why!

At last, you've reached a lofty position worthy of your talent and hard work. Haven't been out for a while but hope to see everyone soon.

When will the DFW area have another swap meet? I have never been to one and am quite interested in seeing others work.

Just think, Cletis- being a moderator means your pay gets doubled. Since you've been offering your two cents...awwww, nevermind.

(Big Chevy 3600 - I think the next big one will be Pate, out at TWS, last weekend of April. There might be a LaGrave meet before then, I'm not sure. If you're not careful a moderator will move your post from General Truck Talk to Events. That might be the better place to ask/watch. You never know with these "young bucks" with newly appointed powers... wink )
