Six months after finishing the 15-foot addition to the garage, your wife's car is still parked in the driveway.

You can identify which part of your truck created which cut and scar on your body.

you know you're a stovebolter when you check this website more than twice in one day to see if anyone replied to your forum post.

ykyabw: you get a nice new company truck and it sits in the driveway because you still take the bolt to all your appointments.

You will work on the bolt but send the wife and her car to a local garage for repairs.

Fred,

"The bald [censored] prairie farm,,, what is it,,, had to change my sig. line but at any rate,,"

Richard has a real farm in Canada, with lots of cows, bulls, horses, etc. It's the name of his farm. I would gather he may have a donkey or two.

I take care of the wife's car by supporting the local garage. My '66 low tech truck is my stress relief/hobby/preservation of history.

When she get's the '65 Mustang things will change somewhat.

When leaving a movie theatre you proclaim, "When that comes out on DVD we gotta get it!"

When your wife asks, "Really? You liked it that much??" you reply, "No, the movie sucked.. but about 20 minutes into the flick, a sweet AD truck drives by, and I want to get a closer look!"

I have to rectify this; the cows and the bulls are of my neighbours, all I do is feed, treat, sort, brand, and chase them. And all I take home of them are some steaks. cool The horses are ours. The Jack is working on a hopeless project, Chev'26, which will take him the rest of his life. grin
Thanks

When your Garage/Barn/Shop is bigger than your house then you are a Redneck Stovebolter.

When you heat up your flywheel ring gear in the kitchen stove (500 for 15 minutes works great!) to put it on the flywheel that's waiting on a blanket in the kitchen floor.. you might be a stovebolter.

..or a redneck.. or both.

You know that you are a Bolter when you are late for work because you must check one last Bolt category on Ebay.

OR

When you stay up until 3 a.m. in order to get the winning bid in on a Bolt item on Ebay.

YKYABW you drive 5+ miles out of your way in a zig-zag pattern on every trip just so you can gaze at the 10 or so trucks your admiring in town (or out of town).

You come home to see all your stuff in the bed of your old truck and all your clothes in the front seat. And you only have two things in your mind.
1. I hope she didn’t scratch my freshly chromed grill
2. She better of put my Stetson in there cause I guess I’m going out tonight

She just didn’t understand the relationship between me and the ol girl (my truck)

I bought a truck instead of getting married to a gal, I've baked parts in the oven, rebuilt carburetors on the kitchen table, used parts as ornaments in the house, have old truck screensavers and backgrounds on my computer, I routinely save another old truck from the undeserving hands of numbskulls who think it belongs in their grove for target practice, been amazed at how bad a shot they are when the only glass left in the truck is the big wrap around rear window, looked at trucks for hours online, check the forum as many times as I can, give advice on trucks like I think I know what I am talking about, have a garage bigger than my house, clean my garage like most people clean their house, tell my girlfriend "No, you can't put that in my garage!", drive the old truck around town and purposely park next to my window at work so I can admire it and point it out to people who stop by my office, wish I had a 35 stall garage, look for places on my body that aren't scared by an old truck, drive the truck without a heater in the winter because I know it will start, cringe when I have to work on my gals car again because when I had her bring it to the shop to have it fixed they screwed it up and her too (her checking account that is), can't concentrate on work and blurt out the "new" truck I scored, changing the topic of conversation in our weekly team meetings.

I AM A STOVEBOLTER AND I NEED HELP!.......Scratch that, I'm stayin' this way.
