I am restoring to original a 1946 Chevy 1-ton model DS pickup with a 9 foot bed. When I got the truck the bed had both sides, front bed panel and the tailgate and two cross members. I have the new wood for it, bolt kit and the bed strips. Need to know how many of the cross members are needed and any mounting blocks etc. Photos?

....but, check out the Mar-K here on the bolt. They are a sub forum in the "bed" forum. There maybe an assembly page you can find or contact Mar-K. You could check with that forum as well for input.

There are four main cross members and two low profile ones that span between the wheel wells.
