Years ago with my '64 1/2 ton pickup, I had a problem with Wix fuel filters. They would plug with the finest little stuff. Truck would start and run fine, then starve out at higher load/rpm. Switched to cheaper brand filters and problem gone. Maybe take filters out of system and try road test?
