I feel like I'm losing my mind! Installed the Carter electric fuel pump today and we've got fuel! Unfortunately, the pump is leaking around where it's "clinched" together. It looks like a manufacturing problem. So for today it runs great. no backfires, taking the gas but a major leak. The next step is to see how good Summit Racing return policy is...
