Paul,thanks for the clarification,it's just I remember seeing an old MK2 Jag a while back with an enamel badge on the rear bumper proudly proclaiming the fact.

If memory serves they were developed on the D type Le Mans cars.
Now there's a Jag I wouldn't mind owning!
