Remember the good old Brit rodders favourite,the Austin/Morris/MG/Jag set-up?
They used it on everything.

In fact...I wouldn't be suprised if you had one kicking around your garage given your love of the Coventry Cat.
There are various sweeps available and with a bit of conduit cutting and shutting can be made to fit.
Flip the drive boxes and you can reverse the sweep too.

I used one on my '50 and retained the clap hands movement by reversing one of the drives.

Works great even in Scotland with a little help from Rain-X grin
In saying that our weather's been more like Va. than Scotland recently......
