I spoke with the Blanco County Tax Office on this and was told there would be no discontinuing of the YOM plates for the antique vehicles, just those registered as daily drivers. If you register and use YOM you will be quite restricted in where you drive.
That's the way I understood it. I may be wrong... I got to looking at my 1951 plates and there's no way they will OK them they way they look. Looks like I'll have to paint a bit.
