tclederman Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Jarvisburg, NC, USA	Alvin, SC is much hotter than VA and I had the advantage of the driver's side air "scoop" in my 1948 1/2 ton panel. In 1969 (when I had the panel), air-conditioning was a luxury. We got used to the VA heat, but I do not know about summer heat in SC. Tim 1954Advance-Design.com 1954 3106 Carryall Suburban 1954 3104 5-window pickup w/Hydra-Matic The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
