Bill -- Grigg is right, you really need brakes on both axles -- you don't want that firetruck pushing you around going down a hill. It IS strange that brakes on the second axle would be optional. I thought that for most states, it was required to have brakes on both axles if the trailer is rated over 10k.

1 May is coming up fast. I still haven't straightened out my issues yet...
