The cab is now off and I can see everything much better.

I don't think there is any way I can get the motor positioned low enough for a reasonable driveline angle without putting it at an extreme angle or removing the crossmember. Clearing the crossmember has to go.

So the question now is do I work up some kind of replacement like what Coilover did or swap the entire suspension to a '72 Chevy 3/4-ton IFS.

It appears that pushing the motor back into the firewall a couple of inches allows the oil filter to clear the front crossmember, and with the motor in that neighborhood the driver's side exhaust looks like it clears everything. The passenger side might still be a problem.
