I put one in a 51 GMC about 35 years ago and it now has about 250 thousand (2nd engine) virtually trouble free miles on it. The torque is fantastic and it handles 2.70 gearing with ease. I used the oil pan and pick up from a 69 Eldorado to get the deep part of the pan to the rear. I don't know how to post a picture but it is on my photobucket site at:
