Scott I talked to a transmission guy ...who said they could provide a 4L80e to fit my Cadillac. I would imagine that same trans would fit your Olds and cost would be similiar to the Tremac...
I believe that is a standard latemodel 4L80e with an adapter. Unless a special case was made that I do not know about, the 4l80e never had a BOPC bolt pattern. You may want to ask. the only thing special would be the trans controller which are easy to find.

No, I just dont like automatics, and would like an overdrive trans. My intention is to build a truck to pull my boat, haul parts and generally drive it.
