I'm going to take another look at installing the water pump adapter... It has been many months since I installed the short shaft pump but I clearly like the adapter method as I feel it would keep the truck cooler year round.
Any changes to the install in the past year? Any new advice before I take my running truck apart again? BTW: It does get hot in parades and heavy bumper to bumper traffic in the summer time. I've put about 1,300 milesn the truck since last October and it runs great except for the water temp issues.
