Just a reminder....make sure that the 2 bolts you use to bolt the pump to the plate have standard sized heads with the nuts on the outside. (Visible from front of the vehicle)
If I remember correctly, you used some bolts with larger heads and they interfered with the plate laying up against the block. When you tightened down the outer bolts, it bent the plate.
