I feel your pain I went thru the exact same thing. I ened up getting a 1/2-20X1 set screw and turning the end to a pin. Worked like a charm, Get some speed bleeders at the local parts house they work great on a one man bleed job. Make sure you torque the caliper hose bolt to 22 Ft/lbs sound like a lot but its the spec and they should stop leaking.
