I've never seen a study on whose the worst head cracker. My personal experience is that I owned one GMC 228 and three chevys. Replaced 2 GMC cracked heads and no Chevy heads. Will admit that I worked the jimmi harder than the three chevies combined. Always thought the jimmi ran a whole lot hotter than the chevs--but the 228 was a lot older.
