Well--I haven't seen a homebrew intake constructed before--sounds like few here have either--been thinking about it this afternoon--why use sheetmetal? Ur an elecrical guy -- why not use aluminum tubing--conduit--mock it up and bend it-- or buy the bends and weld em up-- get flat aluminum stock for the ports-- and carb flanges-- drill the pipe(log) out with a drill press for the additional runners--rig up some heat plate to the botttom to run water or exhaust--need to borrow a tig or get some buddy to weld it up for you. Gotta flow better than some twisted up sheetmetal--just my thoughts--I'm sure we'll see sumthin Pescarellaesque.
