Yup I'm hard headed too....for most of my life Drivers trusted me with their lives. If you don't honestly believe in what you are doing and how you do it then you are sending someone out to get hurt or worse.Do remember the worst any of my real race cars finished was 5th once.And I never had a DNF. I'm proud of that but not too proud to continue to learn.
Bizzin I think the heads crack from abuse and overheatin' also from poor or old fuel...I've cut these all up they are pretty good castings
They do steam around the exhaust seats inside. Air
doesn't cool well and that maybe the problem
When the old guys tell you to slow the water down what they are really saying is increase the block pressure....this is the difference between the system/cap pressure and that assisted by the water pump and varing water passage size
