Since the ignition issue has been brought up I've been wondering. Won't the stock GM 6 cylinder HEI be plenty for my application? I would think it would be even a little bit of overkill for a 292, .060 over, with a small cam, headers and 4 barrel.
Will the changes in ignition that you and others have suggested really make that much of a difference in performance?
