I'm running the stock 3.73s in the differential. The truck has 235-70R15 tires. But the 4 speed transmission has a 0.73 ratio in overdrive which lowers the rpms considerably. I don't even use overdrive on the highway under 60 mph. RPMs are just too low and the engine lugs too much.
