I had a '49 3-window when I was younger and have always loved working on old trucks. Now with a family with 5 kids - the only option for runs to dairy queen involve something with at least 7 seats. The suburban is the perfect solution.
Unfortunately (or otherwise) one old truck is never enough. I don't own a panel, but I have a couple of canopy expresses now and officially two titled suburbans (and a few parts rigs). One burb will be factory stock when done, the other will be enhanced with a later 292, disc brakes, stereo, etc.
