Ok update time. While I was changing the dist cap and rotor I looked down and saw this.

That to me does not look good. Later a neighbor was walking by and was aking about the truck and in coversation I mentioned the noise and showed him the crack he said fire it up and when I did he put his hand over it and mentioned that eshaust is coming from it. He thought thats what it was when he heard me start it after I changed the cap and rotor. My brother n law is coming by on Monday and is bringing a compression testor so I will know for sure if thats is part of the problem on monday. Also what is this thing in the circle?
