When people say old trucks don't make good daily drivers I find myself confused.
I mean.. what were they built for in the first place? Weekend driving?
Granted, a stock '41 thru '54 truck probably won't keep up the pace with 80MPH traffic in the big city, and if you need to drive that fast then a stock configuration probably isn't for you.
If you live in an area where 4 wheel drive is a requirement, then you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle.. or some weight in the back and some chains.
