I wouldn't mess with too much of anything until you get it home. Keep the oil and coolant topped off and bring your cell phone and a phone book. You start messing with the fuel system or hoses and belts, something will come loose or break or something and then you'll be hurtin'. Let sleepin' dogs lay. Just a thought,
