A guy who previously offered me $2800 for my 81 called me this morning at about 9:00 and said he'd take it for $3000. HIP HIP HORRAY!!! So I gave it to him - $3000 cash, paid off the loan, and I'm off on Saturday to pick up my new 64! I decided on puttin some tires on up there, and driving it back from Amarillo. So, I know I had talked about driving it back earlier this last month, but just a de-briefing before I hit the road, can ya'll give me some pointers? I know ya'll said take water, oil, and what else? I'll put the new tires on up there in Amarillo, so that'll be goooood. Any other tips? It'll be me and my dad, and since we haven't talked in a long time, hopefully this will bring back and start some new memories. One last question, if you click the link below, you can see a picture to help. On the 64, if you look at the taillights, it shows the just one red on each side. the LMC catalog shows that there was a SEPERATE back up light. Could this be a mistake? I don't even see a hole where there would have been a hole for the light. Any help? Thanks in advance, you guys are great!
