21 JUNE 2026 REPLACED DISINTEGRATED PASSENGER JUMPSEAT BOTTOM SPRINGS AND REFURBISHED THOSE FOUND ON EBAY

1st pic are springs found on ebay for $339 (ouch!) to replace mainly the bottom (gray) that I tried to fix & I'm not a metal fabricator. Then I removed the rust on the newly obtained & painted flat black.

The project is in that phase that moving forward requires lots of $ that I have to save for months & then move ahead for a proper original restoration. But I am getting there!

Seat springs are expensive & I now have all of them and the seat frames to move it along. I am saving for the upholstery that I'll get from Carters soon.
