20 SEPTEMBER 2026 BEGAN SLIDING SIDE WINDOWS INSTALL
I bought the 8 pieces of glass from Auto City Glass (MN) for $479 and suburban side window weatherstripping kits from Classic Parts (MO) for $225. The glass thus far is about 1/4 inch smaller than the original and I am making it work. I've done the first window but still need to seal it good with clear weatherstrip adhesive permatex. A tedious job is removing old catwiskers from the stainless and you will use that stainless strip on the new larger window of the 2. See pics.
