I was never good at geometry. 😁 but I think I understand what you’re saying.
So I’ve got it up to the floor now and have a 2x4 wedged across to the frame. Both sides have c-clamps to hold in place. Can I leave that as I and jack up the rear and put it on jack stands. And do I put the stands on the axle tube or the frame?

But can I lower the tube to the ground instead then move it to the side?
