One precaution before trying to adjust the sector preload (the adjustment in the photo). Some linkage should be disconnected, usually one end or the other of the drag link, so you'll be able to feel the "high point" as you turn the steering wheel through center. For a rough guesstimate, at least jack up the front wheels and put the axle on stands so there's no contact between the tires and the ground.
