If your steering gear is newly rebuiilt by Lares, then the problems you spoke about previously are probably not due to the steering gear. Look at all those other things listed first.
Your leaf springs are probably fatigued but probably not responsible for your wonky steering.
Another thing to check is your front end alignment. Take up Hotrod's alignment offer.
