Shane - about the time we passed Oklahoma City, and I didn't stop; the friend traveling with me to the swap meet starting unobtrusively glancing at the fuel gauge. After a few miles, he started fidgeting. I pulled over, and got a roll of electricians tape from my toolbox, and placed a piece over the fuel gauge. He looked at me, grinned, and went back to sleep. True story.

Looking at the intake, I think you would have to mill the two extra holes in the Carter for it to fit. Not really a problem.
