Dongray, I had no real influence other than price in using an Edelbrock, I built the 292 for a friend of mine. The carb is rated at 625 CFM and required an adapter to mount to the Clifford manifold, I would have went with a Holley if it had been mine. The ultimate goal for the 292 is a blower and EFI.
