You are leaving out a lot of variables. You only mention a mild cam and lump port head, what are the cam specs, was the head reworked any further( blended are shaved). What RPM range are wanting to operate at?
All of these thing work need to be taken into account, the engine should be built with your end result in mind. A good daily driver would not require that much of a carb, after all how often are you going to get into the secondary?
