Distilled water here is $1 to $1.10 a gallon. I use it in my C-Pap machine but use other when I have to...even tap water.
Why is it so scarce in Canada?? Curious minds want to know.
I find it amusing that the guy from Boiling Springs has to buy distilled water! Capture that condensate!
It seems my info is out of date and distilled water is now readily available here; but not for a buck a gallon! Probably more available now that it seems some people are afraid of tap water even though the water is tested and certified as OK to drink by the local health dept.
As Jerry points out the term "distilled water" seems to include a lot of stuff.
For a radiator, it probably doesn't matter. For a battery, distilled water is recommended, but most batteries are sealed units today.
