Do fill with coolant until done .
Unlike my self bought coolant filled it up and had a bad hose replaced hose refilled it than water pump started to leak refilled again didn’t burp the system then had a boil over than spewed out. So that’s why the store bought distilled water question
Plain tap water I believe killed my water pump.
