This week I finished the top coat of POR15 on the front axel. The top coat is used to prevent UV rays from oxidizing he finish, it's applied in 2 thin coats with about 24 hours between. I took advantage of a hot sunny afternoon to let the paint cure. I'm really getting excited about finishing the chassis, from now on when something gets bolted in place it will be for the last time. I still have a few mods to make, hydro-booster, clutch pedal and steering gear, but those can all be completed on a rolling chassis.
