So today I fired the 327. It fired first try and actually idled , I set the timing and adjusted the carb settings. I ran it up to temp and then bumped the idle up above 2000 RPM and ran it for 30 minutes to break the cam in. After the cam was run in I shut it down and looked over everything, the oil looked good and the temp was holding about 185 (200 at the head). I fired it back up and throttled it back several times , above 5000 RPM at one point, "if it's going to come apart lets do it now". I'm smiling from ear to ear, dang this thing wants to run .
