I think Brothers sold you a front anti-sway bar for an AD series truck. They did the same thing to me. The installation instructions that came with the anti-sway bar were for an AD truck.

I bought the correct one directly from CPP, PN CP12030, 1955-59. Here’s a couple pictures of the one I bought and installed.
