I bought a speedway 12 circuit wire harness for my 1947 3100. That came without the original harness no wires at all. I been studying the wiring diagram for the truck and the instructions for the harness. I can see a few wires go to the ammeter. On the universal harness, it doesn’t have wires labeled ammeter. In the instructions it shows a gauge with volts powered by a gauge power wire and grounded. I want to use the original gauges and instruments in the dash. When installing a universal harness what issues can I expect? Will I be able to wire it like the original wire harness.
