Ok so do you mean remove driveshaft from differential yoke and remove u joint from slip joint so slip joint and shaft are separate? Then slide slip joint back on spline shaft to the desired spot like it was before(old axle) but without driveshaft.... and then measure from diff yoke u joint center to slip joint u joint center? And that's my new driveshaft length?
Sorry to flood you with questions. I just want to get this right without any issues or more expense. Im already over my assumed budget for it right now. I didn't realize how much stuff I was gonna have to replace and alter for the rear end swap.
