My opinion would be that it would be tough to predict finding one on any given truck. You could cruise a bone yard or two with hope in your heart or have your current one cut down.

The u-joint of course needs to match which should be more likely than the shaft length, but not guaranteed. I would verify that on any used shaft.

The cup diameter and cross length would be two things I would check to be sure.
