Purchased 52 half ton from the original owners son in 1996. Truck was/is well taken care of and was stored in an enclosed barn under a tarp for 17 years. Truck had 96k miles when I purchase it and the owner stated that the only thing done to the engine other than normal maintenance was adjusting the valves. Today it has 112k miles, runs extremely well with very, very little oil usage with great oil pressure. Engine runs quite with typical top engine noise for a 216. That said, I do tend to baby it with weekly drives with speeds 45 or below. In the gallery.
