#1 check for spark. Probably be a good idea to pull the valve cover and spray some penetrating oil on the valve stems. Don't be stingy put plenty on. May keep you from bending a push rod. If you have spark and it still won't start then run a compression check. Only 3 things to run fuel, air and fire. If it starts don't get happy with the throttle, just let it idle for awhile.
