The manifold is off (and checked).
I was thinking of the same thing kind of thing for the morning.
Vacuum is a good idea, easier to use. I was thinking of unbolting the rocker shaft to close all the valves and using air pressure, figuring it would have to come out somewhere if there was a crack.
We magnafluxed 3 other heads before we found one Without a crack, guess it doesn't mean there was wasn't one waiting to form.
How big would the crack have to be to cause this much of a problem? The original head showed a crack when tested before it was rebuilt, but the engine ran fine.
